Anticipated initial assignment is to be at Orleans and/or Niagara Counties, NY.
The individual will provide Individualized Education Program (IEP) mandated counseling to students enrolled in BOCES programs.
The individual will implement students' IEPs, provide crisis counseling and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure student success.
The individual must have the ability to collaboratively work with colleagues, maintain accurate records and have a strong knowledge of outside resources available to support students.
The individual must have knowledge of behavior modification techniques and have strong interpersonal skills.
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and de-escalation training, and an understanding of trauma and how it manifests in children and adolescents, are desirable.
An understanding of the differences in developmental needs and externalizations for students is preferred.
Appropriate certification preferred.
Regular attendance and dependability are required.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.

The foregoing range is pursuant to contractual salary schedules.
The offered salary will be dependent upon the candidate?s qualifications and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
