The individual will provide literacy instruction and preparation skills for the TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) exam to adult literacy students who are housed in the Niagara County Jail.
Experience working with adults, to improve literacy skills and prepare for employment upon release, is desired.
Bachelor's degree in social work, education or related field is required.
The individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire.
It is anticipated that an individual will qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops.
Regular attendance and dependability are required.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
